20140422-184638.jpgJust wrapped up my 8th show w/ @urbusinessnetwork. On today’s show, my guests and I gave our #2cents on Immigration in the US today–while using the plug of day: “I’m not hating; I’m just saying.” Then later on, I interviewed Motivational Speaker & Chief Managing Consultant Doug Luffborough III, who told me his life story–and how he changed his life from gang violence and #homelessness, to shaking hands with the Former President of the United States Bill Clinton. This talk will be made available next week!

Prince On The Air: Immigration in America

20140422-155407.jpg

Prince on the Air! Just wrapped up my talk on Immigration and today’s plug was: “I’m not hating; I’m just saying.” In our rants about immigration we all had to say this plug before we can joust each other with comments. This talk will be made available next week through @urbusinessnetwork. Up next I have Chief Management Consultant of Turning the Hearts, Douglas Luffborough III, to learn how he went from #homeless to #Harvard. Tweet your q’s to @princedjc for Doug to answer.

Prince in The City Show: Ukraine Crises and President Obama’s Second Term Agenda

Prince in the city

On each and every show, I don’t just provide you news in the City but current events around the world–and how they impact you and the world around you.

On this special segment, I had a full packed discussion on views and ideologies–not just on Foreign Affairs but on President Obama and his second term agenda. Contributing to this lively debate, are Stephen Norman and Nathan Roman (both hosts of their radio talk show “The Business Side of Sports”) and Lindsey Poole, media content manager of UR Business Network.

To start out, we first talked about Foreign Affairs. We talked about the latest developments of the Ukraine Crisis, and analyzed America’s role in the world today–while comparing its strength to Russia’s.

All of us were on the same side when it came to disapproving Putin’s ill-conceived actions behind annexing Crimea. But when we got into domestic affairs, and dived head first into President Obama’s second term agenda, things got really political! Apparently there are two sides to every coin!

In our discussion I asked my guests to grade the President’s current performance on three agenda items for America: Foreign Affairs, the Economy, and Health care. While half of my guests gave the President a solid B and the other half gave no comment or gave the President a grave Incomplete. It goes to show that not everyone will agree with you.

From our discussion you will not only learn interesting facts but interesting opinions–and how those opinions can shape a person’s outlook on life. But no matter what political affiliation you belong to, you have the right to voice your opinions–even if they are polarizing. Each side of the table presented great insight that you wouldn’t otherwise hear from your everyday news television network.

Overall, we can somewhat agree that the President is doing a “good” job in protecting the lives of Americans in the face of terrorism. But we can unanimously agree that he has a lot of work to do before he can restore economic prosperity in our country.

*FYI: In my talk I mentioned GDP to discuss Obama’s current performance on the economy—to see where we were and where we are now. For clarification the actual definition of GDP is “The monetary value of all the finished goods and services produced within a country’s borders in a specific time period, though GDP is usually calculated on an annual basis. It includes all of private and public consumption, government outlays, investments and exports less imports that occur within a defined territory.”

Stephen Norman and Nathan Roman are hosts their very own radio show called, “The Business Side of Sports” where they discuss on what makes sports so profitable. Instead of talking about what’s going on in the playing field, they are more driven on what’s going on in the front office?

Thank you Stephen, Nathan, Lindsay for your opinions and great insight.
