The James Drake Art Exhibit, hosted at the Museum of Contemporary Art


These Paintings were drawn by artist James Drake, who spent two years drawing pictures everyday. The exhibit contains 10 chapters (over 100) of his artistic imagination. This was also hosted by Leah Straum coordinator for the museum of contemporary art.

The exhibit contains 10 chapters (over 100 pages) of his artistic imagination. At first I wasn’t drawn into his artwork. But once I was educated by an art liasion, my interest immediately piqued–and realized how fastening the mind works, when asked to draw everyday for the next two years.. on
