Every Thursday I post a miscellaneous article that I’ve written in the past or an interview of an extraordinary individual.
This week’s ThrowBack Thursday Edition: Congresswoman Susan Davis.
Congresswoman Susan Davis is the proud representative of California’s 53rd Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representative also better known as my beautiful city: San Diego, Ca.
I had the utmost pleasure of knowing the Honorable Congresswoman through a raffle drawing which she was kind enough to invite me, my family, and other San Diegans to Washington, DC to see President Barack Obama’s first inauguration back in 2009. Congresswoman Susan Davis was not only kind but very genuine towards all of us who came to DC which she has made a lasting impression on me–she even gave us access to the Press which I made my first TV public appearance on local television.
Winning that raffle happened to be the best thing that has ever happened to me because it was actually my first introduction to politics without me knowing it. Ever since then, not only have I grown a huge respect for Congresswoman Susan Davis, but a huge admiration for her work–and what she does to make San Diego, Ca as beautiful as it is today.
“Thank you Mrs. Susan Davis for everything that you do, and for allowing me to interview you. Until we see each other again, Stay Classy!” –Prince
