Morning Coffee Ed: Blue Bottle Coffee Co.

Wherever my work takes me, so does my coffee. And so today’s morning coffee edition is Blue Bottle Coffee Co.

During my time in San Francisco, and after much site seeing of The Paris of the West, I visited the most talked about coffee shop in town.

Located on the pier of San Francisco Bay, Blue Bottle Coffee Co. was the most crowded coffee shop that I have come across so far–I knew it was popular, but I didn’t know it was That popular.

When I finally received my coffee, I couldn’t help but to notice that I was walking inside a bazaar (like the one in Turkey) but at a smaller scale–it actually reminded me of Kings Cross train station in London. There was a cupcake stand; a olive oil stand; an Asian tea stand; and even a Barnes & Noble bookstore. And when I finally made my way out, I was welcomed by the sun’s warm embrace and the magnificent view of the San Francisco Oakland Bridge. Joining me on this adventure was San Francisco native Makala Paris of whom I have had the pleasure of having my morning coffee with–I also featured her on my Spotlight Feature edition.

My coffee of choice would have to be their lattes. Although their Drip Coffee was quite bold in taste, the lattes are much sweeter–and they add their signature leaf coffee artwork on top.

Blue Bottle Coffee Co is located:
1 Ferry Bldg, San Francisco, CA 94111
